A Gazette, supplementing General Monro's despatch of April 10th men- | tions a large number of Anzacs for [ distinguished and gallant services. Those mentioned are: — Headquarters Staff: General Sir William Birdwood, Major - General Sir A. H. Russell, and the following New Zealanders: Captains Paltry, G. King, Powles, and J. M. Richmond. Mounted Rifles: Captain Wyman (Auckland), Major Hurst (Canterbury), Lieutenant-Colonel Grigor and Sergeant Little (Otago). 1 Artillery : Sergeant-Ma jor s Hicks and Ibbotson; Sergeants Binjiie, Kyne, Cossbrook, and Morrison. Engineers: Sergeant Alexander; Corporals Steele, Dignan, Holmes aud Masters. Infantry: Auckland—Major Alderman; Lieutenant Holland; Quartermaster Graham; Sergeants Francis and Ellis. Canterbury—Sergeants Rhind and Natusch. Otago—Sergeant Henderson, Sergeant-Major Mitahall. Wellington—Majors Cunningham and Cox; Quartermaster-Sergeant Williams; Corporal Little.
