HEAVY FIGHTING ON THE WHOLE FRONT.

DESPERATE ENEMY ATTACKS REPULSED.

A communique reports heavy fighting on the whole front from Riga to the Caucasus. It is especially desperate between the Styr and the Stokhod, west of Luzk, south of Buczacz, Jnd south of Smorgon, where great enemy attacks, were repulsed.

Numerous, guns and 2300 prisoners

were captured.
