Berlin, July 3
A coir.munique says: "During the night the enemy exhausted himself in a fruitless attack on the village of Thiaumbnt. We captured 600 metres of trenches south-west of the village, but were driven out. We captured the hill battery at Damloup south-east of Vaux Fort, taking 100 prisoners and several machine guns. We brought down six aeroplanes yesterday."
