The Anglo-Erencli offensive from the Ancre to the south of the Somrae coatinues at full vigour, and the situation is officially described as satisfactory, Several villages have fallen into the hands of the Allies, and the German second line positions have been penetrated at many points. The Anglo-French casualties are comparatively small, while the enemy's loss is very heavy. v
