They did not find any:traces of the.ciw; A strong northerly gale was blowing, and the Janie Seddon eventually sheltered ab Totaranui, whence she is expected to go out ■again this Morning towards West Wanganui to contimte her search. rlhe lighttiouse keeper ..a-t Cai>e Farewell Stated that the'wroclc drifted.a mile inshore on Monday, when the weather was very bad.
