"Le -Matin" states that exchange in London and Paris has recently risen to 20 francs to the £!, reacting unfavourably on French trado and the Government, which was purchasing largely in Britain. M. Ribot (Minister of Finance), conferred with ZMr. McKenna, Chancellor of the Exchequer, who is arranging to imnrovc the .situation.
