Dr. Disknv is sent for to come to South America" to attend a patient, v and as no'passenger steamer is available be ■secured a passage for-him-self and his granddaughter lluth on the freighter Barbuda. "Beau" Harvey, leader of a gang of gunmen, puts in a crow of Jus mvn men, and plots to steal the cargo of silvojl. Ilutli 'becomes very friendly with the first " mate, Averv. Two days out Harvey's gang mutiny j and Dblow, A very, and Rutlv ai'e mnde prisoners, the wireless smashed, and the operator murdered. A storm arises, and tho boat is wrecked. The mutineers go ashore, and Rxith is ordered to prepare a meal. She puts morphine into the coffee-pot and escapes back to tiie ship while 'the mutineers sleep. She releases the prisoners, and Avsry - repairs the wireless. The warship Freedom is signalled and comes to the rescue, and the gunmen are captured. The supporting programme will include an .Australian Gazette, and other items of interest. Motueka will be visited on "Wednesday. • ■ ' '
