STEADY PROGRESS OP BRITISH, j (Received April 16, 6 p.m.) London, April 16. The Press Bureau states that Sir Percy Lake reports that there was a heavy gale with rain on Friday, but the British ir.ade gradual, steady progress on the right bank of the Tigris. On Saturday, in fine, hazy' weather, they drove in the enemy and occupied i their advanced lines. They found many dead and captured a considerable number of prisoners in the trenches that were taken.
