TURKISH ATTACKS REPULSED
(Received April 17, 9.15 p.m ) Petrograd, April 17 A comoiunique says :—
"There was desperate fighting in the coastal region of Caucasia. We crove the ; Turks, supported by artillery^from a strongly organised position, of great natural strength, on the left bank of Kara Dere, 16 miles east of Trebiyond, and are energetically pursuing the enemy.
"We repulsed with great loss repeated enemy attacks in the direction of Baibui;t." :
