Official. —The Commander-in-Chief in Egypt reports that the 13th Australians, in a successful reconnaissan >c at Jifjafi'ii, attacked and occupied the enemy's camp after a brisk fight. The known casualties are 6 killed and 5 wounded. An Austrian lieutenant and 33 Turks were taken prisoner. Only two mounted men escaped. The only Australian casualty was a non-commissioned officer killed. The Australians occupied Katia Oasis. Katia is about 20 miles east of TQI Kantara, on the coastal caravan route to Syria-.
