LIQUOR TRADE DEFENCE UNION.
ACTION IN VICTORIA
Melbourne, April 15.
. The various branches of the liquor trade have formed a defence union. It has.been agreed to contribute £20,000 annually to promote the unity of the trade. The meeting recommended the reri"notion by 25 per cent, of the alcoholic strength of liquors.
