German newspapers publish an inspired statement with regard ; to reprisals against Portugal. It says that owing to geographical and other eircunv stances Germany finds it difficult at presenb to get at this shameless English vassal, but bints that methods will be discovered whereby Germany will make Portgual suffer financially and commercially.
