DECREASE IN CRIME.

Sydney, April 14

The report of the inspoctor-Gener.il of Police shows a deeveru;e of 10,013 offences under all headings during last year as compared with 1914. The drunkenness charges decreased by 7736, and language cases by 1716. He adds that contributing factors to -the decrease are the occupation of the police on special duties and the absence of 150 constables-at'the wiir.'
