Mr C. do V. Tcschemaker-Shute has donated £600 to the Marlbo; ough Patriotic Funds.

On behalf of the executive of the association, several of whom were also present, Mi\ Baigent presented Gunner Hockey with an auto-razor and strop, as a mark of their ©sttem. Reference was mad-a to th-3 interest that Gunner Hockey had taken in the affairs of the association, and the hope was expressed that he would return safely after serving his country.

Five of these are on active service, and the sixth has enlisted. Captain Archibald Hamilton, of an Indian regiment, went to Africa at tho outbreak of the war,, and ha* seen some severe fighting. In one engagement lus regiment was badly cut up, but he was fortunate enough'k> get through unscatched. Surgeon-Captain Alan Hamilton'is now with the British. Army ".somewhere in Franco." He was for a time on'the medical staff of the Duchess of Sutherland's hospital at Dunkirk, and afterwards enlisted in the R.A.M.C. Trooper Hugh Hamilton loft with the Main Xcw Zealand Expeditionary Force, and was wounded at Galhpoh. Developing lockjaw, he was invalided to England, where he made a complete recovery. He then obtained a transfer to the Royal Flying Corps, in. which he was successful in' obtaining a commission. Sergeant C. A. Hamilton is with thw New Zealand Artillery, and Private lief Hamilton is in camp with the New' Zealand Medical Corps. Mr R. A. Hamilton enlisted recently.
