DOVEDALE AUTUMN SHOW.

The twelfth autumn show" of the Dovoclalo Horticultural and Industrial Association was held in the Dovedaie Hall yesterday. As was to be expected the absence of so many young men from the oistrict had the effect of causing somo diminution in the entries, but thore was no falling-off in the quality of the exhibits. As in past years, too. the careful and tasteful way in lvhioh the exhibits were tabled and arranged was a feature that at once commanded attention as the visitor made his v.ay about the building. Tho proceeds nf the show are to be handed to the Red Cross Fund, which has a high place in the regard of the residents of Dovedaie arid neighbouring districts.
