Jan. 27, 11.3") a.m. Replying to a deputation of London .members of Parliament to-day, Lord Kitchener and Mr Baliour stated that a- great development in'the defence oi London against air raids had boon effected since September. 'lhe .-prograss was not confined to the increase and ■organisation of, anti-aircraft artillery but embraced improved arrangements for aeroplane defence .for .the purpose of mutyof ■control, the Admiralty's responsibility was m process of transference to the War Ofhce.
