CAVALRY CHARGE THE PEOPLE

A P'rench wireless message states that there have been numerous and violent manifestations in Germany at the increased cost of food.
Cavalry charged the rioters at Ludwigshafen, and several were wounded.
There were xipheavals at Munich, where-the Luipokl Brewery Co. has gone: bankrupt. .
, Riots at Chemnitz lasted eight days. Windows were broken'and shops pil-
