Mr. Massey, speaking at \ the Hofovshenua Show, saicl the people of this country had risen to the occasion an; providing supplies for- the ■Empire'*1 need am: in providing men, but more men wort 1 wanted. To-day no man who was fit i<> to the front and able to get away was doing his duty if he stayed Su-re. Indeed, he would put it stronger, and say that he was not only not doing his duty, but was assisting the enemy.
