In the crowded House the division was received with cheers and countercheers. Thirty-one Liberals, including Mr . Runciman (?), Mr Burns, and Sir John - Simon, voted with the minority. Twelve Labour members, ineluding-Mr Barnes, Mr J. Ward, Mr Hodge, aJid Mr Bowerman, supported the Bill. Messrs Henderson, Brace, and Roberts, and the O'Brienites did not vote. Mr Henderson will explain to the Houso of Commons on v Tuesday why ho and his colleagues resigned from tho Cabinet. ' ~.;-.• T-.veive D'abour members supported ihe Compulsion Bill. The minority included 41 Liberals and 48 Nationalisis.
