Private F. S. Hayes, son of Mr. G. S Hayes, of Murchison, is among the New Zealand soldiers who are returning to the Dominion by tho laniti, due to arrive in Wellington on December 27fch. .

Mr D. S. Chisholm, M.A., mathematical master at the Waiteki Boj-s High School, will go into camp at-Tren-tham next January. Of the otner* masters who have already -gone; to_. the front, Lieut. J. Thompson (4th Reinforcements) has been invalided to England with enteric, and Lieut. I*S Jennings <6th Reinforcements) nasbeen promoted to the command ot a company and has been acting as adjutont to his battalion.
