Murchison continues to supply its quota for the front; and on Saturday evening last a largo number of residents- assembled at Thomason's Hall to bid good bye to the members of our latest contingent. During the evening tho men were "each presented with a . cefv of military hairbrushes- as a mark of the esteem in which; they aro held by the'residents'of the . district. Hie men leaving were Messrs It. Goodycr, J. Russell, H:BV Hayes, R. Burns 0. H. Gibson, D.Ndrriss; A. Garbett. W. Mum-o, E. Hughes, ;'t. King, ami W. McKenzie. Mes.srs J. Bunri, J). James, L. Harris; and R. Symonds. who bad already left, will have their gifts forwarded •to them. * • Mr C.
