DAFFODIL DAY.
A meeting of tho Daffodil Day Committee was held yesterday afternoon, Mrs Lock presiding. The gross takings amounted ,to £258 19s lid, and the oxfeiisos to £20 10s 3d, leaving a net profit of £238 9s Bd, which wilt go towards the purchase of Christmas gifts for our boys at the front. It was resolved to ihank the donors of flowers and all thoso who had a&sisted, in any way, in contributing to the success of the function.
