GIFT OF MONEY FOE SHEEPSKIN
WAISTCOATS
Mr,1 J. H. Oock. waited on Mrs W. Lock, chairwoman of the Lady Liverpool Fund, yesterday morning, and stated that Mrs Cock and himself would be pleased to present the committee with .€125/ the amount required for the supply of 500 sheepskin waistcoats, the only conditions being that the waistcoats are'to be approved by the New Zealand Defence Department, and are to be primarily for the met. belonging to tho Nelson district. In response to tho appeal for funds made-yesterday morning, the Lady Liverpool Committee has received a cheque for £5 from Mrs (Dr.) Lucas and one for v similar amount from Mr ,T. Glasgow.
