A GERMAN COMMUNIQUE.

Amsterdam, July 20.
A German official message says: — "Trench fighting on the heights southwest of Les Eparges proceeds with alternating success. Our troops have lost the local advantages which were won on the 17th. There was lively fighting at Souchez, French attacks being repulsed."
