Established to provide for the following BENEFITS on child-birth, chronic incapacity, widowhood, orphanage, and old age:— (1.) Maternity expenses on birth of child or children. (2.) Incapacity allowance after three months' illness. (3.) Widow and children allowances at contributor's death. (4.) Pension at age 60 up to 40s per week. (5.) No medical inspection required. (6.) A contributor who • leaves the Fund under any circumstances is entitled to a refund "of all contributions paid by him (less any benefits received). (7.) Parents and others may now legally enrol other persons as contributors without the laser's knowledge or consent, ensuring right of control over contributions paid by them on behalf *~i such persons. (8.) Persons may join the Fund whose income at that time does not exceed the rate of £250 per annum. (9.) Special provision whereby the orphans of deceased married women contributors may receive thy allowances on subsequent decease of the husband.
