Reeves, knee caps; Aporo school children (concert), per Miss Worley, 375; sale of ma-scots (Joyce Allport), 3s ; Mrs May, linen and face clothe; Mrs C Palmer, 2 scarves; Miss F. Hooper, 2 pairs bed socks; <"ollected m Red Cross boxes. WakefielJ (per Miss H. Hooper), £4 10s 6d; Miss Usher. 1 pair wara shoes: Miss P. Rougi'iton, 6 face cloths. Mrs Cecil King acknowledges the following gifts:-"— Miss R. . Hood, 1 scarf; Miss Savage, 2 pairs mittens, 1 soarf: Mis^ Monson, 1 scarf; A Friend. 3 pairs luce caps, 1 pair bed socks; Mrs Vining, 3 Balaclava caps, 1 pair mittens 2 pairs bed socks. 1 scarf; Miss A. O-ponneil, 1 scarf; Mrs K. Lucas, 1 balaclava cap; A Friend (Pakawan), & handkerchiefs; Miss A. Ellis. Gi'iruoii Downs, 1 pair bed socks; ivlrs-R. C. Ellis,! pair socks. On Tlvarsciay last., three members of the Wakefiold"Red Cross Committee— Aliss H. Hooper (secretary), Miss Fowler, and Mrs I. Turmicliffo (president) collected t!io money from the Red Cross boxes m Wakefield, and afterwards attended the usual weekly meeting at Mrs J. Hooper's residence. The amounts from the boxes were as iollows —3[ r C. Hooper (including donation of £1 5s from Mr A. Tuck, Wakefield) £1 Os 4:Vd, Dr. Pearless £1 5s 7d. "Mr Durbridge 14s, Mrs Tunmclifte 12s I'M Mrs llode-son 5s lid, Mrs Telonius 3s'Aid. Total, £4 0s sd. The collectors' have also been busy canvassing the district for subscriptions, but all the lists arc not yet in.
