The annual* congregational meeting lof tlm Tasmnn Presbyterian Church 1 was held in the Church Hall on Friday evening, Mr W: J. Youngson, 8.A., presiding over, a fair attendance- of members. Reports and balance-sheets showed a .satisfactory measure of progress in all branches of the church's activity, there ; iKsing an increase in ihe membership, average attendance, Sunday school, and communicants' roll. Despite the heavy expenditure on building, improvements, piano., etc., a substantial credit balance was carried forward, in both the building and the genera! fund. The .session consists of Messrs H. Benzies, £'. J. jßrpwn, and F.. E. Ncttage. The f-ollowing were ; elected a committee of management; ' for the .ensuing..'-year:—Messrs N. J. j 'Adamson. W. Benzies, J. M. Stewart,] D. Hainiiig, H. Johnstone, H. A. Per-' mm. (treasurer), and W. Wells (hon. secretary'). Mr H. John stone v/as reelpciod choirmaster, and Miss-Taylor organist.
