VISIT TO NELSON
.(From ■■'The Colonist." May 25.)' The Hon. W. H. Herries, Minister of Railways, accompanied by Mr. E. T. Hiley, General Manager of Railways, and Mr. Buxton, Chief Traffic Manager, arrived overland from the, West Coast at about 1 p.m. yesterday. From. Glenhope the journey u.!s made hv special train, several stops being made on the way to inspect new works in progress, >ml note the improvements carried out since the last visit.
In the afternoon the local railway yards were inspected.
