WELLINGTON WOOL, SKINS, AND HIDES SALE. Messrs; E. Bus ton ■ and Co., Ltd.,; report that at the usual fortnightly I sr.lo of avoolj erutchings, skins, hides, ot<:.. held at Wellington on Friday last, fairly heavy catalogues of wool, skins ■and 'hides Vero submitted. The attendance of buyers was large, and competition keen, especially for skins and hides, which showed an advance of 3d to Id for skins, and -Jd for hides. On the average prices for cvutchings cle- < lined 3d to Id per Ib, and the high prices recorded last month' were not maintained, the highest rates realised in the present sale being Hid for a r-mple of extremely H<rbV conditionedparcels. Seedy lots declined rather more than Id per lb on the average. Hides'were again, in strong ■ demand,'
