London, June 10
A neutral correspondent emphasises the German reliance on paper currency. Internal credit is spund in consequence of a belief that Germany's enemies will be compelled to pay. The German swords have been pledged to redeem the German paper, and failure means a national financial catastrophe.
The Chambers of Agriculture liave urged the War Office to send soldiers experienced in farm work., tinder noncommissioned officers, to assist the farmer in urgent harvesting work.
They state that it is imperative that agriculture should be regarded as a war industry. -
