Oleceived June 1-1, 0.30 a.m.)

PetrogratJ, June 13

Two of our torpedoers on Friday right near the Bosphoras, encountered the Breslau, whose searchlight showed up a Russian kii'Mne 'destroyer.

The latter attacked the cruiser, and a violent exchange of shells occurred. Several struck the Breslau, and an explosion was heard, fire being seen in her bows. ~ The darkness prevented us from seeing the extent of the damage. We had an officoi and six men wounded.
