TURKS ANXIOUS TO TREAT WITH THE ENTENTE.
NOT DECLARING WAR AGAINST
ITALY

London, June 12
Mr. Martin Donohoe reports that Turkey, realising the hopelessness of her position, has indirectly conveyed to Italy her intention not to declare war.
This foreshadows the Porte'a divorce from its German partner.
Moreover, it is understood that Turkey is seeking a suitable channel to treat with the Entente Powers.
