NELSON ACCLIMATISATION SOCIETY.

ANNUAL MEETING

The annual meeting of tho Nelson Acclimatisation Society was held at the Anglers' Club room lost evening. Mr J. Pollock was voted to the chair. Therewas only a" small attendance of members.

Tho report and ■■•balance-sheet (which lias already., appeared, in-these Columns) was adopted, on the motion of Messrs A. E. Man.sford and A. W. Ciaydeii, without comment.

The chairman mentioned that the !<otietv hud donati-d £25 to various patriotic funds during the year. The action of the committee in voting this sum was approved. Tho required number only having been nominated, the following committee was declared elected: Messrs R. S. tfooib F H. Durbrirlgo, W. T. Haroreaves G Boby, T. Houll-er. J. Pollock F. E. Shuttle worth, and H. B. Wnlkor. Mr R. Catley was re-elected secretary and treasurer unopposed. • • . On the motion of Mr. Hoby, seconded' by Mr GT^Batchelor, the cor.imitteo Was empotv-fired to donate up to £100 to any of the patriotic funds. Vav'io-us other matters were discussed, and the meeting closed with a voto ni thanks to the chairman. _«^l.
