A RECONSTRUCTION,

The Court at New York appointed Mr Franklin, vice-president of the International Mercantile -Marine, as receiver for the company. It is understood that this is. merely a preliminary to reorganisation. The Mercantile Marine holds' all the shares in the White Star Company and is largely interested in other Atlantic companies.
