Christchurch, Apiil 6. .Ati he Magistrate's Court to-day, Leonard Llewellyn Grant pleaded guil* ty to a charge of being a bookmaker and betting in a hotel. The police said this was the defendant's first offence, and that he was one of the .small fry. He was fined £20.
