NELSON DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB,
On Wednesday the Nelson Defence Rifle Club held a competition over ranges of 800 and 900 yards, Rifleman Day topping the list with 95. The following are the scores: — 800 900 hp. Tl.. Rum. Day > 49 45 1 95 Rflm. Lukin 44 43 8 95 Rflm. Gledhill 48 46 — . 94. Rflm. Glasgow 37 39 18 94 Rflm. McGuire , 38 47 — 85 Rflm. McLean 36 29 20 85 The following received points for Brown Bros.' shield; Milroy, Irvine, Mitchener, Lukin and Kenning. The members are reminded of the half-yearly meeting to bo held on Monday night at 7.30.
