SENTRY FIRED AT.
Parth, March 18
A gentry guarding a reservoir challenged a man, who refused »to stop. He was again challenged, and the sentry fired. The man vras not hit. He fired at one of tlie sentries, whose cap was pierced. Later the same night, the man was again observed in the vicinity, and was challenged and fired at. He made off into the bush.
