BELGIAN RELIEF FUND

A sum of C 45 5s 3d lias bee-a forwarded to the Bunk of Now Zealand at Nelson, being contributions by the branches oi the Farmers' Union centred around Tapawera district, resulting from gifts of stock sold in tho Tapawera sak.v:irds on March sth by Dalgety and Co. and tho Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company. The folloning contributed stock: —Sheep : Messrs. W. A. Jordan, A. Newport, J. Palmer G. Stratford, E. L. Newport, C. T HufTonin, T. Mead, F. M. Brewerton, G. L. Mead, F. and S. Price, It H Coleman, W. F. Coleinan, R. Stratford, W\ Stratford, F. Rochefort, and R. Goodall. Cattle: Messrs. W. U. North and G. Thorn. A subscription was received from Mr. Jos. Wilkinson. Mr. H. G. Berryman bought in his contribution of five fat wethers at the handsome price of £1 a head, which lie handed to the fund. Ftirther contributions to the next sale are invited.
