RIFLE SHOOTING.

NELSON CLUB V. 12th REGIMENT.

A match was fired on the Mudflat range on Saturday over ranges of 500 and 600 yards between teams representing the Nelson Defence ilific Club and the 12th Regiment. A light tricky wind was blowing, and at times the light proved extremely troublesome to the marksmen. A very pleasant, afternoon s ' sport ended in a win for the Ilifle Club by °0 ooints.
