Perth, March 16.

The charge of wife snurder against John Eath, was reduced to manslaughter. He was sentenced to two years' imprisonment without hard labour, the Judge remarking that he aaffered from hereditary mental weakness and liquor. Imprisonment woul<s -enable him to be treated.

On February 9th John Eath, a farmer, of Kojonup, surrendered to the police, and killing :his wrte during a domestic quarrel.
