SITUATION IN PERSIA.
NO FURTHER NEWS

London, March 16
Mr C. H. Roberts, Under-Secretary for India, interrogated in the House of Commons, stated that there was no further news from Persia. The Turks withdrew after heavy losses, and the British advanced position has been reinforced.
