Trafalgar Park this afternoon v/ill be the soon© ot; t >i<- coronation of Miss Gladys Baxtor, who was nominated by the Hibernians for the distinction of Queen of the Carnival, and by their loyal support, placed at the head ot the poll The crowning, it is stated, will be carried out in a manner that will make it a spectacle worthy of the large attendance of tht> public that is expected. Mr. T. A. H. Field; M.P., will perform the ceremony. The Queen, accompanied by her Maids* of Honour and the Herald, will leave the Commercial Hotel at 10 minutes to 3 for Trafalgar Park, attended by a guard of honour composed of Territorials. A floral march, in which over a hundred children will take part, will bo a feature of the pageant at the Park. In the evening, at the Theatre Royal, there will be a special performance of Fete of Nations items and others also prepared under the direction of Mr. W. Lints At 9.30 the Princess, chosen by popxiV'" vote from the Maids of Honour, will have the honour formally confoinvj. Tipon her.
