The Dominion bowling tournament opened to-day. At the end of the clay's play Becvoft, of West End, Auckland, was leading in Section A; Wooller. of Remuera, in Section B; Smellie, of Green Island, and Moir, of Dominion road, in Section C; Hill, of Te Hiwi, Wellington, and Ure, of Mount Eden, in Section D; Jury, of Karangahake, in Section E; Nash, of Palmerston North, and Munro. of Thorndo^, in Section F; Smart, of New Plymouth, in Section G; Walker, of Ponsonby, and Carswell, of Taieri., in Section I; while seven nut of ton teams wore equal in >Section H.
