HORTICULTURAL SHOW

The annual flower show in aid of the debt extinction fund of Trinity Church was formally opened at the Oddfellows' Hall, Richmond, by the Mayor (Mr G. E. Crisnall) yesterday afternoon. In spit© of the uncertainty of the weather there was a good attendance of the public. The display of cut blooms wasj excellent, but the dry season caused a' falling off in th© number of exhibits in the vegetable section. The National Sweet Pea Society's silver medal and certificate was won by Mr G. G. Wearing with a nice collection of blooms.
