COUNTRY RACING PERMITS.
(Special to "The Colonist.")
WeUington, Oct. 8. Answering Mr Foroos in the House of Representatives this afternoon, the Prime Minister stated that the Gaming Amendment Bill had not yet- become law, and would not be law for some little time. As soon as tho additional permits were legally available, the Government would decide upon the date by which permits should bo applied for.
