NELSON HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE AID BOARD.
The monthly meeting of the. abovenamed Board was held yesterday afternoon, when there were present: Messrs Bafgent (chairman), Simpson, Hoult, Hewetson, Lock, Harrison, Franklyn, Colder, Allan, Bell, and Mrs Watson. Accounts for payment were passed for the hospital amounting to £377 11s Sd. and for charitable aid to £372 17s lOd. The chairman referred to the death of the mother of Mrs Fell, and moved that a letter of sympathy be sent to the bereaved family. The motion was carried while the members stood. j
Owing to indisposition. Mrs Fell was excused from attendance.
