ADVANCE IN HUNGARY.
ALARM AT VIENNA AND BUDA PESTH. PREPARATIONS FOR DEFENCE. Rome, Oct. 6. Austrian reports received at Ancona admit that the Russians have advanced through Maramaros and occupied Hasz- | mezo. The suburbs of Vienna are being feverishly fortified, houses being demolished, guns mounted on the hills, ] and trenches and breastworks erected. There are similar preparations at Buda Pesth and other large cities. Banks are sending bullion into the country, and the State treasuries and archives are being removed.
