It has been leoorded by competent judges j that he is ene of the best, if not the best -horse yet bred in the Dominion j but in addition to being well bred, he is a grand big stylish norse of great quality, and undoubtedly a true type of his sire and grandsire. Prince Darnley was sired by the renowned Silver Gift (imported, 12,859), by Prince of Carruchan (8161), dam Lady Darnley (9369), by Darnley (222). Dam, Dainty, by the famous Danger Signal (imported by the New Zealand Government), grandsire by Royal Albert j dam, Black Queen; grand-dam, Darling, by Noble (imported). Prince Darnlay's Show Record As a yearling he was first at Blenheim in 1909, as a two-year-old second at Master ton in 1910, and as a three-year-old he was an easy first in the aged horses at Nelson in 1911, beating the great imported horso Merry Morning, also first in his class as a three-year-old, and carried away the champion ticket for the best stallion in the yard. In 1913, at Nelson Show, first and champion. Prince Darnley holds a Government certificate for soundness. Terms: £3 Bs, payable on or before 31st December, 1914.
