Wellington, Oct. 6>

Two years ago a vote of £'100 was: placed on the Estimates by Mr Ell, when Postmaster-General, to build a nost office at.Stoke. Nothing has Been done except to propose an addition to a grocer's shop. Mr Atmore reminded the Government of these facts in the House of Representatives to-night, and asked the present Postmaster^ General whether he was prepared to provide the office so urgently needed.
