PROGRESS IN THE ARGONNE AND

WOEVRE

Paris, Oct. 4,

After repulsing all attacks on our left we resumed the offensive at several points.

Our positions at other points are wall maintained.

We have thrown back the enemy in ihe Argonne towards the northward, and are slowly progressing in southern Woevre.

There arc no developments in Lorraine, the Vosges, or the centre.
